The successful Malayalam film 'Classmates' is being remade into Telugu on the same name by Sravanti Ravikishore on the banner of Sravanthi Movies under the direction of K Vijayabhaskar with Sumanth, Sharvanand, Sunil, Ravivarma, Sada and Kamalini Mukherjee in the lead.

The music for the film was scored by Koti and was released into the market on April 2 through Aditya. The basic theme of the film is that a group of students who got separated after their schooling meet on a particular day after a few years. How did they share their experiences after their education is the subject.

Hero Sumanth would appear with a different look and it was learnt that a special point hitherto never touched by the Telugu directors is being moulded on the celluloid.

Following his tradition, the film will have Vijayabhaskar's mark comedy and would be a good entertainer.

The film is all set for release on April 20 as a summer gift.
