The successful Tamil film 'Veerikalandai' directed by KR Jaya is being dubbed into Telugu as 'Poratam' by P Sai Manogna on the banner of Sri Sai Manikrupa Creations with Surya and Jyothika in the lead.

Presenter of the film Nallacheruvu Paduchuri Badrinath says, 'The film is based on a fight made by the children for the love of their parents. Presently dubbing is in progress. The speciality of the film is that Surya and Jyothika are playing the hero and heroine, while Siva Kumar is playing the father of Surya. The real father playing the reel life father. The film has a lot of family sentiment and at the same time it has good scope for action. There are six songs in the film. There are lots of fans for Surya in Telugu and hence we are confident that the film would be a big hit.'
