It may be recalled that 'Student No. 1' directed by SS Rajamouli under the directorial supervision of K Raghavendra Rao and produced by C Aswini Dutt with Young Tiger NT Rama Rao was proved a big hit commercially and created some records in the Telugu film industry.

Aswini Dutt had a great history of making films with several top stars including the late NT Ramarao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Krishna, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Junior NTR, Allu Arjun, Kalyan Ram, Sumanth and Tarakaratna.

Presently, Aswini Dutt is busy making a film 'Sainikudu' with Mahesh Babu and Trisha under the direction of Gunasekhar. The film is in post-production stage.

After the completion of this film, Aswini Dutt would produce a film to introduce Ramcharan Teja, son of Mega Star Chiranjeevi, as hero in January, which would be another prestigious project, both for producer Aswini Dutt and also for Puri Jagannath. It is reliably learnt that Aswini Dutt is planning a film with Junior NTR in the lead after this flick. Either Gunasekhar or Trivikram Srinivas would wield the megaphone for this film.
