It is well aware that 'Pokiri' directed and produced by Puri Jagannath and presented by Smt Manjula on the banner of Vaishno Academy with Mahesh Babu and Ileana in the lead was proved a big hit and rewrote the 75-year-old history in many ways including collections.

It created a record by completing 50 days in 300 centres in Andhra Pradesh. Later it completed 100 days in 200 centres and created a record in the entire south India.

Next, it completed 175 days in 63 centres now and rewrote the records of all the films that were released in the State and established a brand new record.

To celebrate this occasion, the unit is holding a mega event 'Silver Jubilee Function' of the film on November 15 at Anantapur. A prominent hero is also attending the function.
