After earning the 'Miss Beauty Queen' award in 2002 in Uttar Pradesh, Vidisha played as model for different commercial products of national and international companies.

As she had an interest in acting, she took training in Theatre Arts for some time. Her main aim is to earn a good name as an artiste par excellence. Vidisha of Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh had completed her B.Sc Biotech recently.

Sharing her opinions with newsmen Vidisha says, 'My debut commercial film is 'Alaa…' in Telugu. As I am interested in acting, my parents also encouraged me. My recent release is 'Maa Iddari Madhya…’ It is a memorable experience to work in the combination of producer Venkata Shyam Prasad and music director RP Patnaik and also in a prestigious banner like SP Entertainments. Moreover the film had lots of scope for performance. I promise that I will do roles which have good scope for performance besides the glamour oriented roles. I am confident that the Telugu audiences would accept me as a good heroine. Presently I am playing heroine in a film produced on the banner of Raj Kumar Movies with Shashank as hero, another film being directed by Hemanth, one more Hindi film directed by Mohan Sharma.'
