‘I have a big ambition to play a solo hero in a popular banner. Though I played several prominent roles in different films, my dream remained a dream till I got the opportunity to play hero in ‘Veedhi’ produced by Ushakiron Movies. At the same time, I am very happy at the success of the film,’ says Sharvanand.

Revealing his experience as how he got the opportunity to work with the banner, he says, ‘I approached the people on learning that Ushakiron Movies is planning a film. However, my attire was not appealing as I was sporting a beard for ‘Vennela’ film. They did not like me then and looked for some other artistes. I returned from the US, after the completion of ‘Vennela’ shooting. In order to make another attempt, I met director Dorairaj. He was surprised after watching me and recommended my name along with my profile and video clippings to Ramoji Rao and Kiran. I got selected and bagged the chance to play hero in their film.’

He further says, ‘Though I got several opportunities to play hero in several films, I just postponed them as I have a strong ambition to prove a hero in a big banner. ‘Veedhi’ fulfilled my desire and I was able to prove as a commercial hero through this character. The film has several elements including comedy, sentiment and fights. It is being liked by one and all.’
