It has been pouring heavily in Andhra Pradesh.

And they say, film earnings have been hit due to the monsoon rains.

Well, it maybe true. But it is equally true that this year it has been pouring winners after winners at the box office.

We had carried some detailed analysis of the year’s hits for the first six months.

Now after July itself there has been some interesting hits too.

Ashok started the second half with a bang bringing Junior NTR’s moribund back into life.

After that Amma Cheppindi has won the urban audience’s approval. Though it is early to say whether the movie will be a hit or not, the critics have certainly given a thumbs up to the sentimental tearjerker.

Game has opened to a mixed show. But it may still make it good at the box office.

And now Bommarillu has really opened big. Despite a wet blanket all across the state, the Dil Raju produced venture is looking to be a runaway winner. Tickets are sold out for the weekend in Hyderabad, and both the word of mouth publicity as well as the critics’ verdict has been positive.

This looks like the fourth straight winner from the Dil Raju factory.

And it also looks like a good time for Tollywood.
