It is the ultimate test for Gunnam Gangaraju. His Amma Cheppindi releases today.

And with no competition to face, Gunnam Gangaraju can prove whether his kind of films --- sensitive, sober and with an intelligent touch --- have a market these days. He is known for offbeat flicks that keep you interested.

Amma Cheppindi is a film about a ‘grown up kid’ and a spunky mother. Suhasini and Sharvanand play the lead roles. The story is set in the backdrop of the Sriharikota space centre. It talks about moral values in a world that is increasingly forgetting them.

Keeravani music has already caught attention of the public. It stands out for its unique feel and fervor.

Gangaraju's son Sandeep Gunnam is making his debut as a cameraman in the film.

The film is also a test for Andhra public, as they have to show what kind of entertainment they prefer. Totally mass-centric or one with some cute ideas?

The film is releasing with 32 prints across the State, and if the movie does well more prints will obviously be added.
