Deepa has not had the kind of start that she would have hoped for in her career.

Deepa’s first two films Oka V Chitram and Mayajalam did not create the kind of impact she must have been hoping for.

But the cute Deepa is also very understanding. She knows the climb at the early stages is bound to be steep and difficult. But if you manage to come through that, then the ascendancy is easy.

That is why she is putting her heart and soul into her next film Nikki and Neeraj.

Shivaji plays the hero, while Deepa plays the heroine.

The film is progressing at a fast clip.

Director Poorna Adapala (Chandra) is very confident that this fun movie will hit the bull’s eye.

Deepa says, she is on a good wicket. But she also knows that how to play is what matters in the end.
