M.S.Arts Proprietor Shyam Prasad Reddy is back to producing films after a long lull. Last film he produced was ‘Anji’, with Chiranjeevi in the lead, which turned out to be a major setback for him at the box-office.

He is now ready with his next venture, for which he has chosen Tamil director Sabapathi (‘Pandam’ fame) to direct. The title of the film is ‘Arundathi’, as the very name suggests is a heroine-oriented theme.

Anushka has been zeroed in to play the title role. This has come at the right time for Anushka, as her recent film ‘Vikramarkudu’, which is running to packed houses all over the state, is her first hit to date.

It is an author-backed role and it provides Anushka with the right opportunity to prove to the critics, that she is no pushover when it comes to doing films where there is scope to perform. The film will have the kind of special effects seen films like ‘Ammoru’, and ‘Anji’. The shooting of the film will start from August.
