Madhavan is acting as a hero in a Tamil Film ‘Aarya’. The production of the film is taking place both in Tamil and Telugu concurrently. The title of the film in Telugu will not be the one that is being used in Tamil.

After, the hit film ‘Thambi’, Madhavan will be appearing on the big screen with this film. Director Balasekharan, who is notable in Telugu for films like ‘Priyamaina Neeku, ‘Snehamanta Idehara’, and ‘Ammayi Bagundi’ is at the helm of things.

Malayali lass Bhavana (‘Chitram Pesudhadi’), is the heroine. The film is a mixture of love, action and sentiment. Only songs and climax remains to be shot.

“Madhavan is playing the role of a medical student. Instead of, treating the patients with his stethoscope, why he has to replace it with a knife is the inquisitive point of the film”, says the director Balasekharan.

Prakash Raj is playing a vital role in the film. Vadivelu is handling the comedy. For the Telugu adaptation, Sunil will replace him. Mani Sharma is the music director and Manoj Kumar is the producer.
