This weekend there are no big releases in Telugu.

Only Rajendra Prasad’s Iddaru Athala Muddula Alludu and Maganti Dayakar’s Jayadev are set for release.

Rajendra Prasad’s movie will be another family comedy, with stress on lowbrow humor.

After Pokiri, there has been no major success in Telugu.

The subsequent releases till Hanumanthu last week had some average run. Godavari is running well, but its appeal is primarily in urban centers.

It remains to be seen whether RP manages to buck the trend.
