Balakrishna has a legion of fans and they are thirsting for a big hit from him.

This 'king of masses' had tried taking the action route in his previous movies like Allari Pidugu and Vijayendra Verma.

The two actually did not work. So, for a change, he is attempting fun, sentiments and other emotions in his new movie Veerabhadra.

Veerabhadra, produced by Ambica Brothers and directed by A. S. Ravikumar Chowdary (of Yagnam fame), is set for release later this month (April 29).

The music of Mani Sharma is already doing well in the markets.

As the director says the film has lot of fun-based situations. With suitors --- Tanushree Dutta and Sada --- for Balakrishna there is plenty of mirth, he says.

Prakash Raj, Sayaji Shinde are also in the cast. Balakrishna is cast as Muralikrishna, a normal man. There is plenty of comedy in his character, he adds.

Along with Brahmanandam, Venu Madhav, M S Narayana, Dharmavarapu, Kovai Sarala, Balakrishna has a whale of time in comedy.

The audiences are also waiting to laugh.
