Now it seems official. After stray reports in the media, now it can been said with some amount of certitude that the Tamil hit Tirupachi is indeed being made in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan in the lead.

R B Chowdary would indeed produce the film under the Mega Super Good Films. The other part of the news that also seems certain is that Bheemineni Srinivas Rao would direct the film.

It may be recalled that the three had done the film Sushwagatam. So it must be happy reunion for the trio.

Apart Pawan Kalyan, the film also stars the newcomer to Telugu Sandhya (she was the heroine of Premiste).

Sandhya, who is being talked of highly, plays the sister of Pawan in the film.

The story is about a brother, from a village, who takes on the bad elements in the city after he marries his sister to a city slicker.

It is an action entertainer and was a hit in Tamil, starring Vijay and Trisha in the leads.

Sources say a search is on for a heroine to pair Pawan.

Pawan is currently doing Bangharam under Dharani.
