There is a clamor for big-ticket films from satellite channels.

These days they are ready to pay any amount of money to get the rights for telecast.

Films are gobbled up the moment they hit the theaters.

Sometimes films make it to the small screens within weeks of their big screen release.

The latest hit to have been acquired by a TV channel is Athadu.

This Mahesh Babu-Trisha starrer has been acquired for nearly Rs.2 crores, industry sources say.

Films like NVNV and other hits are also on the way to TV.
