Guess who needs a big success to keep the followers' interest alive?

Well, it is Tollywood itself. It is some time since the industry had a real blockbuster.

The recent releases like Bhadra, Atanokkade, Athadu have all done well to a certain extent, but the big one has eluded the industry for long.

In terms of sheer collection, the biggest hit of the year has been NVNV. But that was released in January. But now we are almost at the end of the year. In the interregnum, many big films have spectacularly bit the dust.

The market may hem has not spared anyone. If anything, it has been pretty democratic. Chiru's Andarivadu, Nag's Super, Venky's Subhash Chandra Bose, Balakrishna's Vijayendra Verma, they all have been failures. And you don't get any one better than these names in the industry.

Young heroes have all had to face the music.Only the small budgeted films have tasted some kind of success.

So Tollywood needs a big success as a dose of confidence. Will it be Chiru's Jai Chiranjeeva, set for release in December? Or will it be Allari Pidugu? Or will it be Political Rowdy?

Your guess is as good as ours.
