Finally, after a lot of speculation, Ashok, the new film of NTR Jr went on to the floors yesterday without much fanfare.

The film is NTR Jr's one big chance to redeem himself. Considering its importance, NTR Jr has roped in Surender, who salvaged kalyan Ram's career through Atanokkade, to direct Ashok.

Valluripalli Ramesh is producing this film.

With NTR Jr said to be besotted with Sameera Reddy, the curvaceous lady may play the lead in this film too.
