Sangeetha's career is taking a new course.

For long, this buxom actress was seen just as a glamour material. And she was confined two-bit roles, prancing around trees and making perfunctory appearances on serious scenes.

But she had oodles of talent. This was proved by her gritty performance in Sivaputrudu. As a ganja selling rustic woman in love with a ruffian undertaker, Sangeetha finally announced her arrival as an actress.

Yet, Tollywood has taken time to notice her prowess.

Her next Vijayendra Varma was a colossal dud.

And then, out of the blue, she was offered a chance in a film with Vadde Naveen.

Naa Oopiri, the film, has again underscored the ability of Sangeetha. In a complex role, the actress has shown that she can handle any amount of complexity.

Now, again out of the blue, she is playing the second heroine in Shivaji-Laya starrer Adirindayya Chandram.

Perhaps, Adirindayya Chandram will lead to much more regular stream of roles for her.
