It is very rare that a music director enlists another musician to sing a song. RP Patnaik has been a rare exception so far; he enlisted many a musician, including Chakri, and Koti to sing a song. It's now the turn of Mickey J Meyer to enlist a contemporary musician to sing in his film Okka Ammayi Thappa, starring Sundeep Kishan and Nithya Menon.

"The introduction song is very peppy and I felt Thaman's voice would be perfect for the song. So, I approached him with the offer and he immediately accepted. I thank him for being so gracious and sportive," said Mickey.

Okka Ammayi Thappa is done with the talkie part. The pending two songs will be shot soon, one in India and the other two in foreign locations. Directed by debutante Rajasimha Thadinada, the film is produced by Bogadi Anjireddy of Cinema Choopistha Maava fame. The film comes with the caption 'All Indians are my brothers and sisters."

"This is a commercial entertainer with a unique plot. Sundeep Kishan and Nithya Menen have given great performances and Chota K Naidu's cinematography is a big asset," says director Rajasimha Thadinada. Sundeep Kishan says, "I'm playing a college-goer in this film. It will be a big commercial hit."

Bollywood actor Ravi Kishan is playing the villain. Ravi Kishan, the villain of Race Gurram and Kick2 fame, is playing the antagonist here. Nearly for one-and-a-half hours, there will be graphics.

Ali, Ajay, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Rao Ramesh, Rahul Dev, Prudhvi, Saptagiri, and Tagubothu Ramesh are part of the cast.

Music is by Mickey J Meyer, Editing is by Gautham Raj, and story, screenplay, and dialogues are by Rajasimha himself.
