Balakrishna seems to be on a roll. After the problems of last year, the actor seems to have fully recovered his poise. And it was all there evident at the launch of his next movie under the direction of A S Ravi Kumar Chowdary on Ambika Cinema Productions banner.

The film starring him and Sada went on to the floors last Saturday at the Rama Naidu Studios. It was a star-studded occasion with Dasari Narayana Rao sounding the clapboard, EVV Satyanarayana switching on the camera and K Raghavendra Rao directing the first shot.

Balakrishna was of course the cynosure of all eyes.

The hero, however, keep a discreet presence. It was as if to show that he meant business all through. He shied away from the media throng, and made a quiet exit.

But his co-star Sada, fresh after the success of Aparichithudu was bubbling with energy. She made all the right noises about acting with Balakrishna. She was positively effervescent, and that is a good sign for the film.

Producer Ambika Krishna said he was happy about working a star like Balakrishna.

Director A S Ravi Kumar Chowdary said it was one of his dreams to work with Balakrishna and the same was coming true. the film would provide wholesome entertainment.

Balakrishna, it seems, is on the right track.
