The thing about Vikram is that he is a pan-Indian appeal.

It is very difficult to slot him as a mere Tamil actor alone. And Tollywood fans have always enjoyed Vikram's performance. Much before Vikram became the hero he is now, Telugu film industry wholesomely accepted him. And that is a tribute to their large-heartedness.

And in his own show of large-heartedness, Vikram some time ago decided that he will do at least one Telugu (direct) film every year.

And he seems to have set the clock running by committing to a Telugu film that will be released in 2006.

Though most of the details of the film are still being worked out, Vikram is confirmed to act in a Telugu film to be directed by Gunasekhar.

And much before this complete Telugu film, Vikram will do a Tamil-Telugu bilingual for A M Rathinam.

Vikram is all excited about the release of Aparichithudu nearly one year after Sivaputrudu's release. He opines that too frequent releases spoil the image.

Vikram does not wear his stardom on his sleeve. In fact, he is one of the sweetest and genuinely nice human beings around. In a world, where egos tend to be fragile and bigger than anything else, Vikram is a thankful exception.

And he has also proved that nice guys too can finish first. Aparichithudu is expected to underline this further.
