Nagarjuna has extolled Varun Tej to skies for portraying the role of a soldier in his latest outing Kanche.

“Nagababu`s son Varun Tej did a fantastic job as a soldier in Kanche. He took us back to independence days and the film gave me a nostalgic feel,” said Nagarjuna on the sidelines of the success meet of his younger son Akhil's debut movie. Directed by Krish, Kanche is set against the backdrop of World War II. Varun Tej played the role of Dhupati Hari Babu, a brave soldier from the Indian contingent for the epic war.
