Latha Rajinikanth has refuted the charges made against her by one Abirchand Nahar and said they were concocted with an only intention to "extort and make wrongful gains".
A day after an FIR was lodged against her, Latha issued a statement which said the act of Abirchand Nahar and his wife Chanchal Nahar of Ad Bureau was "entirely false, fraudulent, contemptuous, extortion and criminally ill-intended".
The Superstar's wife said she would be initiating serious legal action (both civil and criminal) in order to get them punished in accordance with law and for damages.
"Spiteful efforts were also made by the wicked duo to lodge false police complaints at Vidhan Soudha police station way back during December 2012, but that too were not successful as the police had noticed the fallacies in their versions and had warned them in counter," she said.
The FIR was lodged based on a complaint by Ad Bureau on June 9, alleging that Latha had produced fake documents in the court to defraud and illegally sell the rights of 'Kochadaiyaan' to an entertainment company.
