Master looking for his lost touch

It is with some mixed feelings that director Krishna Vamsi would be attending todayÂs audio release function of his film Chakram.
Obviously he should be happy that he is now a father (his wife Ramya Krishnan delivered a baby boy a couple of days back).
But Vamsi would also be slightly tensed. It is a feeling that he has not been used to for long. But the gnawing feeling, eating at the innards of his stomach, would be there. And that may not be due to ChakramÂs music.
It may be more due to Chakram itself. It is his make or break film. Too sweeping it may sound, but the after the failure of Sri Anjaneyam, his last film, many searching questions were asked about his ability to adapt to the new idiom of movie making.
VamsiÂs style is all about angry emotions and larger than life personas. It is a style that Tollywood and its fans are throwing out through the window with impatience.
But Vamsi believes that he and his essential approach have their relevance even in a fast-changing industry. He feels Chakram will vindicate him. The film stars Prabhas, Asin and Charmi in the leads.
Vamsi does not want to talk about the filmÂs story or its ingredients. ÂIt will have my stamp and style, he succinctly says.
Now, will the fans give their stamp of approval in style?
