Kranthi, who played the lead role in 'Vaaradhi', which stars Sri Divya as the leading lady, is very optimistic that the film, which is releasing on April 17th will give a break in the industry. He speaks about the film, his background etc in an interview.

Second film

'Vaaradhi' is my second film as an actor. Earlier I acted in 'Mallela Teeramlo Sirimalle Puvvu'. I played a very good role, which has lot of scope for performance in 'Vaaradhi'.

Negative shades

My character in 'Vaaradhi' has negative shades, but there is a reason for it. I played a guy who takes pleasure in the sadness of others. What is the reason for his behaviour will be interesting. There will be a small story behind it.

Revolves around her

Sri Divya's character is very important in this film. She played Aaradhana and the whole story revolves around her. At first, director want the film to be titled as 'Aaradhana'. She did a very good job.

Won't get disappointed

This film is not a triangular story. It is a commercial entertainer with very different elements. The freshness of the subject is the major highlight. There are very good emotions in the film and also good entertainment quotient. It is a cool entertainer in Summer. Audiences will not get disappointed. They will enjoy it.

Background

I am from a middle class family in Guntur. I've been mad about acting from my childhood.I completed my MBBS, just because my parents want me to complete it. After that I did acting course at Satyanand master's institute in Vizag and entered the industry to pursue my dream.

Director is his friend

Satish Karthikeya is the director of this film. He is a friend of 'Swamy Ra Ra' fame Sudheer Varma. and 'Vaaradhi' is his debut film. I liked the way he narrated the story and his punches come naturally in the flow. So I immediately agreed to act in the movie.

Will do such roles

I want to play performance oriented roles. Because, I personally feel that there are very few actors in Telugu, who play such roles. I am also ready to do negative roles.
