Dasari Narayana Rao, the veteran director, who is now a Union Minister, knows a thing or two about the tricks of Tollywood.

After all, he himself has directed over 125 films.

Dasari, who was at hand at the 100 days function of Anand, pointed out the trend of directors and producers in Telugu filmdom claiming their films to be hit when in reality they were not really so.

Dasari said this was an unhealthy trend and should be stopped forthwith.

And in the passing, he also said Anand was a genuine hit.
