On the horns of a dilemma

Asin, the svelte Kerala girl, is confused these days. Though she is from Kerala, Asin struck it rich in Tollwyood with her dignified presence and gamine charm in films like Gharshana and Sivamani. She also did plenty of other films.
After Amma for most of Telugu fans, she was a Tamil girl. The success of her role was such that people began to identify her with the character that she did in that role.
And, as it happened, it is to Tamil that she shifted her focus as Gharshana failed.
In Tamil, she played the same role that she played in Amma in its remake.
But there she was a Kerala kutty in that film. Again, her role was taken note of and she has become very busy in Tamil.
Now that has really put things in a tizzy. She still continues to be very busy in Telugu.
Among her prestigious films is Krishna Vamsi's Chakram. In Tamil, too, there is no dearth of any offers. Asin is now not very sure on which language to concentrate on. She doesn't want to miss out on opportunities.
But at the same time it is difficult shuttling between Chennai and Hyderabad (not to talk of the overseas trips to other countries for songs).
But this is a nice dilemma to have. Indeed, it is also ironical that such embarrassment of riches should happen to somebody like Asin who took to films just for a lark.
