Producer M S Raju is in such a form that he cannot do any wrong at the moment.

His Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana looks to be the clear winner among the Sankranthi releases.

Admittedly, the main competition from Naa Alludu and Dhana 51, the other two big releases for the festival, have almost left the field open for Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana.

But on its own, the film stands as a refreshing one. Going by the openings, the film looks to be a bigger hit than Raju’s previous hit Varsham. And that is indeed good going.

Everyone connected with Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana has got good reviews. Prabhu Deva, the debutant director, has walked with the plaudits for sensible handling of a sensitive story. Siddharth, the baby-faced hero, has won applause for his freshness and infectious energy.

Trisha, the charming heroine, has won everyone over with her simple beauty and uncomplicated acting. The music of Devi Sri Prasad and the camera of Venu all have come in for praise.

A good entertainer getting laurels is indeed nice.
