There were speculations that Mahesh Babu did a cameo in Sudheer Babu's upcoming movie, 'Krishnamma Kalipindhi Iddharini' and the unit has been keeping it a secret to surprise the audiences.

But cleared that Mahesh didn't act in a cameo. He said that the unit has not approached Mahesh Babu for the role, as they thought it doesn't Mahesh Babu's image. Naga Chaitanya and Rana Daggubati are going to appear in the film according to sources. They even attended the Gummadikaya (wrapping up) event of the film.

Chandru is the director and Nanditha is the leading lady in KKI. Lagadapati Sridhar and Sirisha are producting it in Ramalakshmi Cine Creations banner. Though the unit planned to release the film, which is a love story, as Valentine's day gift, they decided to postpone the film due to the delay in the post production work.

'Krishnamma Kalipindhi Iddarini' is the remake of Kannada super hit film, 'Charminar'.
