Manchu Lakshmi played an important role in a psychological thriller titled 'Budugu'. Master Prem, Indraja, Sridhar Rao etc played other key roles.

Manmohan is the director. The post production work of the film has been completed and the film is ready for a release. Master Prem played the title role as Budugu.

Director says, "This is the story of a eight year old boy named Bunny. He has a sister named Dolly and a dog named Troy. His parents are busy with their office work and has no time to look after their children. Fed up with the abnormal behaviour of Bunny and his lack of interest in studies, his parents join him in a boarding school. He sees some strangers, whom others can't see there. When taken to treatment, some unbelievable truths about Bunny are revealed. What are they and why is Bunny behaving so should be seen on screen"
