Bellamkonda Srinivas, who made his debut as hero with the movie, 'Alludu Seenu', last year celebrates his birthday today (Jan 3rd). On this occasion, he talks about his upcoming films, the roles he wanted to do, about working with Boyapati Srinu etc.

How are you going to celebrate this birthday ?

I didn't decide anything particularly. I want to work hard and do good films. I want to do get a good name as a hero and want to make my dad proud.

After a commercial success like 'Alludu Seenu', what type of films do you want to do ?

I am interested in commercial movies. Because, everyone appreciated my dances and fights in my first film and so my next film also should have those elements. Eventhough, the content of the movie is different, I will take care that it will have good commercial elements.

After working with a director like V.V.Vinayak, you are now working with another big director like Boyapati Srinu. How do you feel ?

It is really God's grace. Because after watching 'Alludu Seenu', Boyapati appreciated me and said that he has a good subject based on youthful love point and planned a film. I am really fortunate about it.

How will be the movie with Boyapati ?

It is really a good point and Boyapati is preparing script based on it. I can't reveal about it more now.

When signing a film, what will be your first preference ? Story or director ?

I will give preference to both. Because, even if the story is good, only a good director could present it well. In the same way, even if the director is good, if he doesn't have a good story, movie will not work out. So I will give importance to both story and director.

Will you do movies in other banners or only in home banner ?

I will definitely do films in other banners. My film with Boyapati is in home banner and the sittings for the next two films are going on. Those two films will be in other banners.

How are you working out for Boyapati's film ?

Compared to my first film, I have worked out for my body for Boyapati's film. I am practising dance and gymnastics well. I am doing reharsals everyday. Because I never want to give up. I want to show difference in dance, fights or hair style for my every film.

Will you work with new directors ?

I am working with big directors now. It doesn't mean that I will not work with new directors. Many new directors have narrated stories to me. For the last six months, I spent time hearing stories. If I like the story, I will definitely work with new directors.

You have impressed with your fights and dances in your first film. Do you ever feel you could have done better watching that film ?

I definitely feel that I could have done better. Every actor would have that feeling. Even after doing ten films, when doing 11th film, you could get that feeling when watching your 10th film. But as an actor, I should do different films and entertain the audiences.

Your next projects ?

I am doing a film with Boyapati at present. After that I will work with Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao for the remake of Tamil super hit film, 'Sundarapandian'. It is a subject based on friendship. We are making changes according to Telugu nativity. The discussions are going on. We will reveal the complete details soon.
