Renu Desai has revealed some interesting facts about her relationship with Pawan Kalyan. She responded to the rumours about her married life, alimony and also revealed how she reacted when Pawan Kalyan said he wanted to give his remuneration back to the distributors of 'Johnny' film etc in her birthday special interview. She even got emotional answering some questions.
Renu Desai said, "I came to the industry when I was 18 years old and married to Pawan Kalyan when I was 19. We were together for 11 years and then got divorced with mutual understanding. We have no differences between us. What happens between a husband and wife will be known only to them. I was shocked with the rumours that I took an alimony of around Rs.40 Crore from Pawan during divorce. It is the biggest lie about me. I was really surprised when a common friend of Pawan and me asked about it and a senior director said he believed I took such a big amount. During signing divorce papers I really got emotional. Many are asking me why shouldn't I go back. Where should I go ? I can't force anyone. People who give such advises should better think of it. I supported Pawan Kalyan in his every move and decision. When he wanted to give back his remuneration to the distributors during 'Johnny', I said to him to go ahead with what he thinks was good. I even supported him when he wanted to start Common Man Protection Force".
"Some are advising to get married again. Love happens only once. I can't love again and again. I want to be with the person I loved and married for a life time. But I am not so fortunate. I don't think I will get married again".
"I fell in love with Pawan Kalyan at the first sight. But he was the first to propose me. I wasn't aware then that he was already married. But I was not bothered even when I came to know about it because I truly love him.Though my parents didn't agree to our marriage for some time, he convinced them".
Renu Desai also said that Pawan is still in touch with their children Akira and Adhya and he is very close to them.
