There are a lot of speculations around who is going to direct Chiranjeevi's 150th film. Till now, V.V.Vinayak is considered to be the helming the project. But Vinayak is moving on to his next film, which will be the debut of Akhil Akkineni.

So gossip mongers are abuzz that Chiranjeevi, who supervised the scripts of Ram Charan's recent films like 'Yevadu', 'Govindudu Andarivadele' etc., is confident enough to direct a film and he wants to direct his 150th film by himself as he is thinking that none of the present generation directors is able to direct this prestigious project.

Some rumours are also doing rounds that Sampath Nandi is out of 'Gabbar Singh 2' and Pawan Kalyan is going to direct this film.

But sources say that there is no truth in both of these news.
