Vishal has acted in the lead in a high voltage action entertainer titled 'Pooja'. He also produced the film on Vishal Film Factory banner.

Shruti Haasan is the heroine in this film. This film, directed by 'Yamudu' and 'Singam' fame Hari, will be released on Oct 22nd in both Telugu and Tamil. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director. Vishal said that the audio of the film released recently is getting a good response and the platinum disc function will be held soon.

Executive producer of the film, Vaddi Ramanujam said, "The film is getting good offers regarding business. Buyers from all the areas are competing for the rights of the film. Global films will release the film in Nizam, Hari pictures in Guntur, Krishna and Nellore and in Vizag area, V.B.M.Reddy will release the film"
