'Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya' is all set for a release on Oct 10th and M.M.Keeravani, the music director of the movie, shares his experiences in an interview.
Excerpts from the interview.
You have worked for the second time in Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram banner. How is the working experience ?
I am very happy to have worked for this film. Director, producer and actor are the pillars for any movie. The trust of producer is very important. Sai Korrapati believed me so much. We shared our opinions with each other and worked for this film. I know Trikoti right from the days he worked with Rajamouli. He has a very good talent and it will be proved with this film. Good team has worked for this film and the result will be seen in a few days.
What is the freshness in the story ?
The story is very different. A father and son fall in love with the same girl. What happened then after and what are the consequences forms the rest of the story. Every character will be interesting. I am confident that this story will be successful.
The music of the film is very fresh. Did you take any special care ?
All the songs in the film are situational and so the music has a fresh feel. The story is new and the situations are also new. So the music may have that feel.
Your father has penned the lyrics for this film...
Our father is penning lyrics regularly. He has penned songs for 'Rajanna' and I thought it would be nice if he works for DCR. Major songs were penned by Anantha Sriram.
Tell us about the performances of artists
Everyone has acted well, but I think Ajay has done an outstanding job. His role will get a very good response as Sudeep's role in 'Eega'. This will be a turning point in his career.
The producer said that you are the hero of this film ?
The producer may have said it out of respect on me. Everyone has contributed for this film.A movie will not become a hit, if only the music is hit. It is a team work.
Who is your favourite music director in the present generation ?
There are many talented music directors in the present generation. But I like 'Swamy Ra Ra' fame Sunny M.R. so much.
Your upcoming projects ?
'Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya' is completed and right now, I am composing music for 'Baahubali'. I will also compose music for Bollywood films 'Baby' and 'Titli'
Finally, M.M.Keeravani said that the new concept of the film will be sure received well by the audiences and expressed his confidence at the success of the movie.
