'Rudhramadevi' shooting completed

The shooting part of India's first historical stereoscopic 3D film, 'Rudramadevi', has been completed. Anushka played the title role in this film. Allu Arjun played Gona Gannareddy and Rana Daggubati will be seen as Chalukya Veerabhadra in this film.

Gunasekhar, the director of the film ,said, "The R&D work of the film was started in 2002 and pre production work started in February, 2012. The shooting started in Feb, 2013 at Thousand Pillars temple in Warangal and completed on Sept 4th, 2014 at the huge set erected in Gopanpally. This film will recreate history. Hollywood technicians have worked for this film, which is the first historical 3D movie in India. This 3D technology will thrill the audiences visually in Hollywood range. This film will also be released in regular 2D along with 3D".

Gunasekhar has thanked the artists, technicians and workers who worked for this movie. The post production work has already started and the film will be released in December.

Nitya Menon, Krishnam Raju, Suman, Prakash Raj, Catherine Tresa, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Aditya Menon, Venu Madhav, Uttej etc played the other characters.

'Maestro' Ilayaraja is the music director.
