The shooting of India's first historical stereoscopic 3D movie,'Rudramadevi', is going on at a brisk pace now and the shoot of Allu Arjun's role started today (04.07.14) at Gopanpally in Hyderabad in a huge set erected by 'Padma Shri' Thota Tharani.

It is well-known that Allu Arjun will be seen as Gona Ganna Reddy in this film and his character has got a lot of importance. Gunasekhar, the director and producer of the film, says, "The shooting of Gona Ganna Reddy's role has started today at the huge seven fort walls set erected by Thota Tharani. The shooting will be done for 40 days continuously on Allu Arjun and 40 junior artistes. Anushka, Rana, Prakash Raj, Hamsanandini, Krishnam Raju etc also participate in the shooting along with the stylish star. Catherine Tresa will pair up with Bunny in this movie. These scenes will be canned with high technical values and we will spend lavishly. The shooting of the film will be completed almost with this 40 days schedule.We are planning to release the movie in December ".

'Maestro' Ilayaraja is the music director of this prestigious movie. Anushka, Rana Daggubati, Allu Arjun, Prakash Raj, Nitya Menon, Catherine Tresa, Aditya Menon, Krishna Bhagavan, Uttej etc are included in the cast of the movie.
