Mayabazar movies and Maruthi talkies banners are jointly producing a film with Sumanth Ashwin and Nanditha as the lead pair and the film is titled as 'Lovers'. Harinath of 'Lucky' fame is the director of this film and Maruthi will present this film.

The audio teaser of the film has been released at an event in Hyderabad on the occasion of Sumanth Ashwin's birthday and producer Damodar Prasad attended as the chief guest for this event.

Maruthi says, "I thought of not involving in the creative side of this film except the production. But as M.S.Raju sir asked me, I have provided the screenplay and dialogues for this film. The shoot of the film is almost completed and only two days shoot is remaining. Samantha will launch the audio on July 4th and we are planning to release the movie in August".

Sumanth Ashwin said that he is very happy to celebrate his birthday with the team of 'Lovers' and he is looking forward for the release of the film. Jeevan Babu (J.B.), the music director of films like 'Ee Rojullo', 'Bus Stop', 'Premakatha Chitram' and 'Kotha Janta', is the music director of 'Lovers'
