It is not only the hapless Andhra Pradesh farmers who are looking up eagerly for the rains.
The reedy Trisha, the most hip girl in Tolly Town, is also. The svelte actress in fact may be in a mood to sing Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Head
Wonder why? Well, it is simple. Rains read money for her.
The actress, who has become a hot property in both Telugu and Tamil, is currently charging around Rs.40 lakh per film. But if the film involves a rain dance number, the figure is jacked up to Rs.50 lakh.
And superstitious producers, who had seen her Varsham (full of rains) being a mega grosser, are only too keen to include rain songs in her films.
In the event, it is Trisha who is doing all the harvesting.
Trisha is currently doing M S Rajus Prabhu Deva-directed Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana and Mahesh Babu-starrer Athadu. She is also doing Jee opposite Ajith and Thirupachi opposite Vijay in Tamil.
