'Jagannayakudu' With Raja As Hero Takes Off

Jagannayakudu, a political thriller starring Raja as the hero and Mamatha Rahul and Sirisha as the female leads has taken off yesterday at Adishankara Engineering College in Gudur in Nellore District. The film is directed by P Chandra Sekhar Reddy and produced by VA Padmanabha Reddy on Vijayanjaneya Productions banner. The filming started with a song on the lead pair choreographed by Vallam Kaladhar. The Muhurtham honors were done by J Ramaiah, the Administrative Officer of the college and Koorapati Shankar Reddy, a well known businessman.
Producer said I produced Bhogabhagyalu over three decades ago starring Krishna and Sridevi with the same director PC Reddy. I am happy that I am doing with the same combination once again. We have recorded all the six songs. Plan to shoot in and around Gudur for a stretch of 30 days and finish the shooting and release the film in April this year
Director said This is the story of three generations. Ranganath as the Grandfather and the Village head, Bhanu Chander as the son who wins as MLA and goes on to become the Chief Minister of the state and finally Raja as the Grandson who grows as a youth leader and walks in the footsteps of his father to become the Chief Minsiter of the state too
Raja and Mamatha Rahul said they are blessed to be playing the roles of their lifetime. The film also casts MS Narayana, Aamani, Raghu Babu, Chandra Mohan, Annapurna etc.
