Continuing the pre-release campaign involving stalwarts of Tollywood, Team Basanti had its trailer shown to epic director SS Raja Mouli and Young Rebel Star Prabhas who then praised the team. This is in followup to the theatrical trailer launch by Mahesh Babu, first song teaser by Jr NTR and VV Vinayak, second song teaser by Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Hit movies Director Surender Reddy.

Basanti’, a love story with terrorism backdrop by talented director Chaitanya Dantuluri of ‘Banam’ fame with Brahmanandam’s son Raja Gautham as the hero and debutante babe Alisha Begum as the female lead. Chaitanya is also turning a producer with the film with his banner ‘Start Camera Productions’. Mani Sharma composed music to the song and Mr Srimani written Lyrics for the same.

Raja Mouli and Prabhas expressed their heart felt wishes to Raja Goutham and the entire team of BASANTI. Director SS Rajamouli said he was highly impressed by the trailer and look forward to the films release. He also appreciated the unique logo of BASANTI, which he felt captured the soul of the story. He added that such films must be encouraged and appreciated by all cinegoers.

Bahubali Prabhas added, "I was very impressed by the trailer, which starts off as simple love story and then goes into very explosive powerful narrative, the story telling seems very fresh and unique. Manisharma music and rerecording has added to the soul of the film. I wish Raja Goutham and the team of BASANTI all the very best."

Director & Producer Chaitanya Dantuluri and Hero Raja Goutham thanked them for their wishes. Co Producer Vivek Kuchibhotla was among others present.
