'Pratighatana', a film by senior producer director Tammareddy Bharadwaja on Charita Chitra banner casting Charmee in the lead role has completed the shooting part and is in the studios for post production. The film is based on Nirbhaya's case that rocked the nation.

Producer Director Tammareddy Bharadwaja said 'ace cinematographer Gopal reddy and composer MM Keeravani worked for the film for free since they loved the subject immensely. Even Charmee acted in it without any remuneration appreciating the fact that this film works and fights towards women protection'

While Charmee is playing the role of a fighting journalist, Reshmi is playing the role of a rape victim. Producer is preparing for a release for theatrical consumption soon.
