Nagarjuna Akkineni has a flair as a producer in picking up the right projects for production. Apart from the regular masala films, he is now invested his eggs in a small and sensible film which, with his charisma can overcome the promotion hurdles. Titled 'Uyyala Jampala', the film is a village love story that attempts to touch upon the tender feelings of childhood sweethearts.

Produced jointly by Ram Mohan of 'Ashta Chemma' and 'Golkonda High School' and Akkineni Nagarjuna, the film is directed by Virinchi Varma. The first look is released by the film unit. The movie is in the post production phase and is getting ready for release.

Talking about the film, Nag said 'The story is an unadulterated love story and we are proud to be introducing Anandi of 'Chinnari Pellikoothuru' whom you loved in the title role as the heroine and Raj Tarun as the hero to TFI. We are planning to bring the audio soon to your audience'
