It's confirmed by the marathon filmmaker YVS Chowdary who launched one of the longest debut in Telugu film history by Sai Dharam Tej, Megastar Chiranjeevi's nephew almost three years ago, made a film of epic proportions, at least by the time it took to produce. Now, the determined director is contemplating the release of the film for the 5th February 2014, probably thinking it to be safe.

YVS Chowdary sent a press release that said 'The film was ready in April but owing first to the political uncertainties in the state we have deferred the release to December. Then, as Charan’s 'Yevadu' was announced for the 19th December, we had to postpone it to the Pongal. Now, due to some technical reasons, we are sending it to the February...'

It was sometime ago learnt that the second film of SDT is also fast completing its shoot and the makers of the film Dil Raju and Allu Arvind are pressurizing YVS for releasing ‘Rey’ soon. It will be interesting to see how the two films will be spaced.
