There is tough competition among Theatre owners all over Tamilnadu, not only to screen the Ajith-Nayanthara Starrer Arrambam but also in terms of number of screens and shows of the film. Recently Kasi Theatre in Chennai has come forward to screen the Vishnuvardhan directed venture for the first two days of its release (Oct 31st and Nov 1) by paying a whopping sum.
Theatres like Kamala Cinemas, Rakki and other complexes in and around Chennai will be allocating the screens allocated for the All in All Azhagu Raja and Pandiyanadu the other two Diwali releases to screen Arrambam for the first two days. It is to be noted the AAA Raja and Pandiyanadu are releasing only on Nov 2 the Diwali day. It is sheer indication that they expect Arrambam to be a money spinner even if it is screened for just two days.
The Arrambam fever does not stop with Chennai. Other area distributors confirm that many screens allotted for All in All Azhagu Raja and Pandiyanadu will be screening Arrambam for the first two days. The number of screens screening the film is bound to increase today (October 29).
Going by the reports we have received, nearly two thirds of the total number of screens across Tamilnadu will screen Arrambam at least for the first two days. With this very huge allotment of screens and AjithÂs ardent fan following, this multi-starrer produced by A.M.Rathnam is bound to take a earth shattering opening since the collections for the first two days is set to break the past records of the star.
Meanwhile Arrambam is film releasing in Andhrpradesh simultaneously, since it is a bilingual. The makers have also achieved a wide release across the globe. Sources say that the film will release in at least 15 countries and this is going this is expected to increase till the last moment.
Ajith really lives up to the ÂKing of Opeing title given by his fans and trade circles.
