Yeah you read it right! Buzz is that our eighties-nineties dancing sensation Govinda will be playing B-Town’s heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor’s father in ‘Jagga Jasoos’.

In this Anurag Kashyap’s film to be bannered under Shuru Productions, Ranbir said to be playing a seventeen-year old guy and has Katrina Kaif as the female lead.

Talks were that Kashyap had serious, lengthy discussion with Chi Chi (as Govinda is fondly called) few days ago and explained him in detail about his character in the film. If sources are to be believed then the actor was said to be impressed with the concept and expressed his wish to be part of the project.

It is said that Govinda’s role won’t be of serious type but will be comedy oriented; which will be in tune with his typical comic-timings.

Well, it will be quite interesting as well as very exciting to see Govinda and RK’s juggalbandi as baap-beta.. What say?
