Rajnikanth magic has begun. Within two days of its teaser going online, 'Kochadaiyaan' has registered as many as 2 million views. This makes it stand amongst the biggest of the biggies that has managed to achieve such feat.

"It is an excellent start that the film has taken, considering the fact that the theatrical promo is yet to arrive," comments a trade source, "It pretty much reflects the kind of curiosity that had been built around the film during last couple of years, courtesy some well planned marketing campaign. You also need to consider that this is no ordinary film either. It is first of the kind, especially from technology perspective, for both Rajinikanth and has his large global fan base."

Now that a phenomenal response like this wasn't really on expected lines. After all, Rajinikanth's last release was 'Enthiran'/'Robot' (2010) and over the years gone by, he has fetched a legendary status for him no less.

Comments a trade pundit, "If more than 20 lakh views in 2 days are any indication, the film is all set to open huge in its December release. The teaser pretty much indicates that this is a rich film in the offering. If just the visuals have generated such a response, imagine audience going into ruptures once Rajinikanth begins his dialogue delivery. Expect something really big in the offering on the big screens."

One looks forward to that for sure. Also starring Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff and South India’s leading stars R. Sarathkumar, Nazzer, Aadhi, Shobana and Rukmini, 'Kochadaiiyaan' is produced by Sunil Lulla and Dr. Murali Manohar and is expected to arrive on Rajinikanth's birthday i.e. 12th December.
