Get ready for yet another dimension of Vijay Antony, the action hero! After his debut in 'Naan', composer Vijay Antony is making it big in his new avatar, acting. The composer-turned-actor is currently working on a film titled 'Salim', with debutante director Nirmal Kumar. The film has Aksha Pardasany as the lead lady, and the flick is set in action genre and beams to have all the commercial elements in the right place.

Since the film is an action thriller, it requires the hero of the film, Vijay Antony, to be specialized in martial arts. Vijay has been taking up Taekwondo classes with a proficient trainer, who recently expressed his satisfaction over tutored Vijay. The actor is said to have impressed his trainer with his professionalism, perfection, flexibility and dedication, going on to be called an expert in the martial art of combat and self defence. Bringing together three big names in production - Studio 9 Production, Sri Green Productions and Vijay Antony Film Corporation - 'Salim' is expected to hit the silver screen this December.
