Gunnam Gangaraju has a style very different from the mainstream Tollywood. But his speciality lies in making films to his taste and still making them commercially successful. He is never in a hurry to start or finish a film. Perhaps one of the most balanced filmmakers of recent times in TFI, he is working on the VFX part of his next film 'Chandamama lo Amrutham'

He gave a candid account of his film on the occasion of launching the film’s teaser. ‘Amrutham has been a great success as a TV show. The expectations are very high and that’s why we are going that extra mile to give the audience a surprise and instead of the initial 40 minutes of expected VFX, we are now making about 62 minutes. Sri, the composer wanted the final visual before him to write the musical score to match the visual with music. This will be the first ‘space movie’ on Indian screen.
