Maruthi has a distinction to his credit, of introducing the most number of Telugu girls to the industry in the recent times. Manasa Himavarsha is a Telugu girl, the third being introduced by Maruthi. Born in Vijayawada, brought up in Chennai, this girl is bubbly with round face, quite lives up to the expectations from a Telugu girl, of course with an urban touch. I am born in VJA and brought up in Chennai. I did a reality show challenge and then id id a portfolio. Maruthi saw the pics and asked me to give an audition. My rebellish featurtes were apt for the role int his move.

Lola is an aggressive woman...

My role Lalitha, nicknamed ‘Lola’ has two shades. One, a college going lovable girl and the other, an aggressive woman who goes to any extent to get her love back. I meet the hero, fall in love, grow close but when he dumps me for another gal, that’s when the negative shades in my character start showing up. I try to create obstacles and the story revolves around this.

Prince is quite a down to earth in spite of his success. Dimple is quite experienced. They sensed that I am inexperienced, helped me grow out of it and do a good job. I thank my co-stars.

Music is a great asset to this movie. Sai Karthik is a genius in the making. He is spot on, versatile and his music grows on you. He is paralelly doing Paisa as well but look at the variation.

My parents have been very supportive. They initially told me to think twice before leaping since we don’t have anyone to back me in the industry. I said I’d give it a try and if I can’t make it, will come back. I am happy for the response I am getting with my very first film. Gives me a feeling I am here to stay…
